Shining Stars is a virtual world where children can name a star of their very own, play games, create cartoons, send greeting cards, have fun, and interact with each other. Russ Berrie, a leader in plush toys, has joined forces with the International Star Registry. Through the Shining Stars website, a child names their Shining Star plush friend, gives them personality traits and then explores the Shining Star virtual world with their new plush as their avatar. The video game features your own Shining Stars Theme Park, where you can purchase games and “rides” with your glow points. Personalizing and customizing the theme park is important – your friends and computer avatars will come visit your park and play the party games with you. In a frantic battle to the checkered flag, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing sees Sonic and friends speed around tracks set in medieval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities, all taken from the visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and SEGA.
