Backyard Sports: Sandlot Sluggers

Backyard Sports is back with Sandlot Sluggers, an action-packed arcade style baseball game featuring your favorite Backyard Sports friends. Improved 3-D graphics, cool power-ups, and special next-gen features provide the kind of turbo-injected gameplay that will keep you swinging for more. Enter the never before seen Story mode and become a backyard legend. Parents can join in on the fun in an all new Family Co-op Mode. Backyard Sports: Sandlot Sluggers offers hours of entertainment with laugh out loud comedic commentary and exaggerated animations for a one-of-a-kind gaming experience. The game is packed with loads of surprises and stars a neighborhood full of fun and diverse kids — both fan favorite characters and new friends.

Sports Island DS

Sports Island DS uses a combination of the touch screen capabilities of the hardware and button use to give the player total control within its 10 events. Players can try their hand at Rugby, Table Tennis, Sepak Takraw (a version of Volleyball wherein players kick the ball as opposed to punching it), Arm Wrestling, Bobsled, Climbing, Sky-Diving, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Golf, and Cheerleading.

Hudson Soft has worked tirelessly to ensure each sport boasts a unique control system, with players steering their on-screen Sky-Diver into position, for instance, or chasing and flicking towards the target on the screen to shoot Clay Pigeons. This adds an incredible amount of variety to the game, with Rugby fans given control over every pass, try and run, while timing and precision play a greater part in the likes of Bobsled, Table Tennis or Arm Wrestling.

Sports Island DS can be played alone or with six players working together – Climbing as a team, for instance – or against each other using just one copy of the game. Players can also set up leagues to keep track of the best performers in each event, while bespoke teams can be created and giving individual names to personalize them. Likewise, the avatars used in-game can also be edited, allowing players to actually put themselves and their friends in the game.

Deca Sports DS

DECA SPORTS DS will feature an all-new diverse selection of sports including golf, ping pong, wall climbing, bobsled and rugby, as well as quirky and exotic sports such as arm wrestling, clay shooting, cheerleading, sky diving and sepak takraw. The new game will continue the original game’s credo of “the Everybody Sports Game.” In addition to the new sports and multiplayer functionality, gamers will also be able to design their own teams by customizing uniforms, changing athlete abilities and even altering the physical characteristics of the athletes themselves.

Big League Sports Summer

Big League Sports: Summer focuses in on classic sunshine pastimes of tennis, beach volleyball, golf, soccer, baseball and football. Players will be able to customize their characters and play through a variety of exciting games in single player mode. In addition, multiplayer mode will allow up to four players on Wii, where players can compete through All-Star skill challenges and cooperate through team-based play.
